Description:

Manufactured in Germany in 1931. With a flip up express rear and beaded blade front sights. Chambered at 2 3/4 inches. Color case hardened receiver has been intricately engraved, with floral scroll work, and game scenes of a pair of stag, both bull and cow, on the left face, and a hunting dog on point on the right face. Bottom of receiver is marked "D.R.G.M.". Barrels are marked "F.W. KESSLER SUHL" with a simple border engraving at the breach, and a dovetail section for mounting a scope. With a horn trigger guard and buttplate. Stock is walnut, with crisp checkering, and a tang mounted selector switch, safety lever is on the right side of the trigger guard. Choked open, with a 14" length of pull.

Rating Definition:

Fine as partially refinished, 99% rust blue finish on barrels and only minor handling marks. Receiver is silvered out patina, with traces of case colors, and 85% nitre blue remaining on the lever. Stock is fine as refinished, with crisp, well defined, recut checkering, and minimal handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
