The consignor's notes indicate that Al Biesen of Spokane, Washington performed the work on this rifle. The left side of the receiver has a faint "Mod. 98", the right side of the barrel is engraved "280 IMP" and the top of the barrel has a "G" inside a "D" proof mark. Barrel is glass bedded. There are two scope rings atop the receiver. The right rear of the receiver has two filled holes. The bolt is brightly jeweled, as is the follower and bolt release lever. The floor plate tang is marked "B069" and there are double set triggers. Mounted on a spade checkered walnut pistol grip stock with sling studs, starburst plastic grip cap, raised cheekpiece and leather covered recoil pad.
Very fine as converted, retains 99% current finish. Stock is very fine, with minimal handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
