Description:

This is a very nice example of the highly desirable WWII British MK II STEN submachine gun. This was Great Britain's answer to the Thompson SMG that was produced from 1941 through the 1950s and was used by all the British colonies. This fine example still has the original tube and various components, It has the original magazine well that is marked "H.F. & Co.". H.Frost & Co. Walsall made that component part which was used during assembly at one of the British factories. It has the standard blade front sight with peep rear sights, with the right rear side of the trigger housing stamped "ENGLAND". It has the earlier production skeletonized wire stock and is complete with one 20 round stick magazine. As noted this weapon has been demilitarized by welding the chamber area shut, and then welding the barrel jacket to the receiver/receiver trunion and a blind plug weld into the side of the barrel and tube.
