Produced on order for the Swiss Army, the first military force to adopt DWM's Luger as a standard sidearm. Blade front and "U" notch rear sights, with the "Swiss Cross in Sunburst" stamping on top of the chamber, "+/V" Swiss inspector's mark on the left side of the extension, and Swiss Cross stamps on the extension, rapid-taper barrel, rear toggle link and frame. Matching numbers are present on the barrel, frame, sideplate and rear toggle link. Fitted with the early style flat top breechblock and dished toggle knobs, thin trigger and grip safety, checkered thumb safety, checkered grips and a nickel finished magazine with metal disc inserts on the hardwood base, which is unmarked. With a brown leather military flap holster, marked "L.G. WALTHER/03/SATTLER BERN" between the belt loops, matching serial number and faint merchant markings inside the flap, and a brown leather shoulder strap.
