World War I DWM 1917 Dated Artillery Luger Semi-Automatic Pistol with Holster

Blade front and fine-adjustable tangent rear sights, "1917" date on the chamber and "DWM" monogram on the toggle link. Three "crown/letter" proofs are present on the right side of the barrel extension, with "Imperial Eagle" firing proofs on the extension, barrel and breechblock. Excluding the magazine and front sight, externally visible numbers match with proper "GESICHERT" and "GELADEN" markings on the upper safety position and extractor respectively. With straw finished small parts, nickel finished magazine with wood base and checkered grips. With a brown leather holster marked "APH. HOFFMANN/BERLIN/1915" inside the flap.

ConditionFine as partially refinished (cold blue on side plate), with 80% of the original blue finish, showing a brown patina on the side plate, a mixed brown and gray in other areas, bright high point wear, and some minor scratches and spotting. 40% of the straw colors are present, concentrated on the takedown latch and safety switch. Grips are very good, with some dings. The holster is very good, with some scuffing, cracking, and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
