Manufactured for less than two years, the Fiala Target, also known as the Model 1920, was externally very similar to the Colt Woodsman, but internally quite different. The Fiala is magazine fed, but the semi-auto type slide is manually cycled for each shot. Included with the pistol are 3 barrels; a 20 inch barrel with a wood forearm, a 7 1/2 inch barrel, and a 3 inch barrel with a knurled body. Standard markings on the frame, with a 2-leaf rear sight on the slide and smooth grips. With an unnumbered hardwood stock, 1 partial box of Remington-UMC Kleanbore 22 Short ammunition, manual and a black leatherette transport case with a purple felt lined interior configured to hold the pistol and it's accessories with instruction sheet.
Very good, with 98% of the high polished blue finish, showing some light handling marks and edge wear. All three barrels appear to have been matching numbers, and the 20 inch barrel shows double stampings of the caliber marking, possibly a factory error. The wood is very good, and the case shows some scuffs and cracks. Mechanically very good.
