Made from 1883 to 1940. Fixed sights, makers marks on the upper left barrel flat, and "THE AMERICAN/ DOUBLE ACTION" on the top strap. "44 Webley CTGE." stamped on left central barrel flat. (H&R maker marking s directly above). Checkered hammer, smooth trigger and checkered hard rubber grips. Having a 6 inch barrel with blue finish makes this gun quite scarce.
Excellent with 95% original blue finish. Displaying scattered areas of high edge wear, small scratches and some surface rust specks. Grips are very fine, with minimal handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
With a fixed blade front, and no rear sights, a blue six shot cylinder chambered in .22 short, blue frame and barrel with underfolding trigger, and fitted with mother of pearl grips. The serial number is marked on the left rear grip strap underneath the grip scale.
Very fine overall with 85% plus of the original blue finish, and an area of thinning to a brown patina just rear of the trigger on the left side of the frame, markings on the top of the frame are all but obliterated from surface corrosion. The grips are fine, with a few small chips, and some minor discoloration on the butt. Mechanically excellent.
