Manufactured from 1899 to 1910. Blade front sight and raised "V" notch rear sights with integral cocking indicator. Belgian proofs and matching numbers are present on the rear sight, slide and frame, with the Herstal address on the left side of the slide, FN logo and Browning patent markings on the frame, "FEU" and "SUR" marked 2-position safety and checkered "FN" grips.
Very fine with 95% plus of the original blue finish, showing some bright edge wear, mild spotting and scattered handling marks. The rear sight is dented slightly and there is a small amount of pitting in the same area. Grips are fine with some flat spots and dings. Mechanically excellent.
