The precursor to the Ruby Pistol, the Radium feeds from a fixed magazine loaded via a sliding door built into the left grip panel. The entire grip panel slides down to depress the magazine follower and open the frame for loading. Slide groove sight, "FIRE ARMS MANUACTURING/AUTOMATIC PISTOL "RADIUM" CAL 7.65" is on the left side of the slide. "MUGICA CALATAYUD" (a firearm store in Spain) on the right side of the frame. Smooth trigger and checkered grips. Consignor notes state this unique pistol was once in the Sidney A Berman Collection.
Very good as period replated with 80% of the nickel finish showing patches of brown patina, scattered shallow pitting and mild handling marks. The grips are poor with mild pressure dents. Safety needs adjustment otherwise mechanically good.
