Manufactured from 1907 to 1929 this shotgun features a factory scroll engraving on the receiver and trigger guard, and the serial number engraved on the underside of the frame. Full choke, 14 inch length of pull and matte top of barrel with a single bead sight. The left side of the barrel has the three line address/patent dates marking above an engraved "FULL". There is a 2 inch wedge of scroll engraving on each side of the breech end of the barrel. The action bar is marked "TRADE Remington MARK" with light scroll engraving. The lower tang is marked "REMINGTON/UMC". Mounted with a multi point checkered walnut forearm and pistol grip stock with a Remington UMC hard rubber grip cap and serrated buttplate.
Fine. The shotgun retains 70% thin original blue finish with areas thinned to a smooth plum and gray patina. The wood is good as refinished with a moderate chip on the upper right wrist at the receiver, a few minor dents and dings, and distinct checkering. The markings and engraving are clear. Mechanically fine.
