This rifle replaced the Model 1903 in 1933 and is considered by many to be the best semi-automatic rimfire rifle ever produced. Manufactured in 1958, this example has a dovetail beaded blade front and elevation adjustable sporting rear sights, and is mounted on a smooth forearm and pistol grip stock with tubular magazine and checkered steel buttplate. The left side of the barrel has the Winchester trade mark information and "MODEL 63 .22 LONG RIFLE/SUPER SPEED AND SUPER X".
Excellent overall, with 99% original blue finish. Showing only minimal light handling marks. The wood is also excellent, with some scattered small storage marks. Mechanically excellent.
