Description:

Manufactured in 1937. Blade front and adjustable square-notch rear sights, with the two-line address and patent dates on the left side of the slide ahead of the Rampant Colt, Colt Ace/caliber markings on the right, and "X/VP" and "60" on the trigger guard. Fitted with a short milled trigger, wide checkered hammer, long grip safety, checkered slide catch, thumb safety and mainspring housing, two-tone Colt Ace magazine and a pair of smooth grips.

Rating Definition:

Very fine with 85% plus of the original blue finish showing some light scratches and handling marks overall, a gray patina forming on the grip straps and some bright edge wear. There are two indentations on both sides of the trigger where a now absent trigger shoe once was installed. The grips are fine with small age lines and attractive grain and color. Mechanically excellent.
