Fixed sights and early pattern front checkering on the slide, with the two-line, two-block address and patent dates on the left side ahead of the circled Rampant Colt and the caliber markings on the right. Fitted with a casehardened hammer, niter blue small parts, military configuration slide stop, lanyard swivel and extended grip frame, checkered grips with Rampant Colt and Colt banner imprints, and a full-blue magazine marked "PAT'D SEPT. 9, 1884" on the bottom.
