Description:

1) Shin-gunto pattern sword, 39 1/4 inches long with a 28 inch blade, slightly wavy hamon, martial pattern hilt, blue/brown cord tassel, and a leather covered saya. Tang is unsigned, with two mekugi-ana. With a cloth storage bag. 2) Naval dirk, 13 1/4 inches long with an 8 3/8 inch single fuller blade, simulated hamon, and gilt fittings.

Rating Definition:

1) Fine. A few flaws are visible in the skin of the otherwise very fine polished blade, along with some light handling marks and a fine hamon. A few seppa are absent, with significant wear and tear on the saya and mild staining and handling marks on the rayskin and wrap. Bag is very good. 2) Very good, with some light handling marks overall.
