Manufactured in 1929. Fixed sights with the two line address/ patent dates on top of the barrel, the model and caliber markings on the left side of the barrel, "VP" and "3" on the left trigger guard shoulders and the Rampant Colt on the side plate. All blue finish with the trigger and hammer having a nitre blue finish. The hammer, cylinder catch and ejector rod are border line knurled. Fitted with a pair of checkered hard rubber grips with "COLT" at the top and "C" around the screw. Includes a Colt factory letter that confirms the revolvers configuration and that it was part of a shipment of ten sent to Powell and Clement Company in Cincinnati, Ohio on December 9, 1920. Complete with the correct Colt factory "maroon" box numbered to the gun (very weak shadow of number) with the end label.

Excellent with 99% plus of the bright original high polish blue finish with only the slightest of handling/storage marks, muzzle wear and a very faint cylinder drag line. The trigger and hammer have a bright nitre blue finish. The grips are excellent with crisp checkering. The box is fair with the outside lining peeling, age discoloration, corner and edge wear and two corners on the lid separating.

Half moon blade front, frame notch rear sights, all nickel finish and fitted with checkered hard rubber grips with "COLT" in an oval at the top. Includes a Colt factory letter that confirms the revolvers configuration and that it was shipped on September 5, 1935 to J.A. Morales in Salgado Yauca, Puerto Rico.

Very fine overall. The revolver retains 95% of the original nickel finish with scattered scratches and dings, small area of muzzle wear and finish loss and a cylinder drag line. The undersize replacement grips are fine with some minor dings and a small hairline crack in the butt on the right grip panel. The checkering is crisp.
