Manufactured in 1923-24 with a smooth trigger, checkered hammer, half moon blade front and frame notch rear sights and fitted with checkered hard rubber grips with "COLT" at the top and "C" around the screws. Complete with a Colt factory letter that confirms the serial number, caliber and finish and that it was part of a shipment of twenty sent to Wolf and Klar in Fort Worth, Texas on June 16, 1923. Also included is an e-mail from the consignor to Colt about the discrepancies with the factory letter (barrel length, year of manufacture and the date of shipment).

Excellent with 98% plus of the original nickel finish showing some minor scattered scratches and dings and a faint cylinder drag line. The grips are also excellent with some minor scattered dings and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
