Manufactured in 1919. This revolver features a half moon blade front and frame notch rear sights. Marked with the two-line address/patent markings on top of the barrel and "COLT ARMY/SPECIAL 38" on the left side, "Rampant Colt" and "VP" proof on the left side of the frame. Fitted with checkered hard rubber grips with "Colt" marked in a oval at the top of the panels and a "C" around the screws. Complete with a Colt factory letter that confirms the revolvers configuration and that it was part of a shipment of 100 sent to Hibbard, Spencer, Bartlett & Company in Chicago, Illinois on August 5, 1919.

Manufactured in 1954. This revolver is one of approximately 3,053 manufactured. Standard markings, unshrouded ejector rod, and checkered grips with silver Rampant Colt medallions. Includes a Colt factory letter that confirms the revolvers configuration and that it was part of a shipment of ten sent to Mr. Chester Bland Mfg. Products Corp. Hartford, Connecticut on March 26, 1956. Mr. Bland served as the President of Colt in 1955. Complete with correct Colt brown hinge box numbered to the gun, cleaning brush and manual.
