Description:

Manufactured in 1896 with a German silver blade front sight, folding leaf sporting rear sight, two- line barrel address ahead of the rear sight and the caliber designation at the breech, serial number and patent information on the lower tang, model designation on the upper tang, full length magazine and smooth walnut forearm and straight wrist stock with standard rifle buttplate.

Rating Definition:

Fine. The rifle retains 50% plus of the thin, faded original blue finish with scattered patches of mild pitting and a gray patina on the balance. The lever and hammer retain somewhat faded case colors. The wood is very good with numerous scratches and dents overall. The action is fine and the markings are clear.
