This Winchester Deluxe Model 1886 Lever Action Rifle was manufactured in 1891 and is equipped with an extra length 28 inch octagon barrel with Beach combination front sight, adjustable sporting rear sight, tang mounted Lyman peep sight, a special order single set trigger, and is fitted with a deluxe checkered walnut forearm and pistol grip stock with sling swivels and an ebony grip insert. It has the standard markings. The factory letter states that the rifle was received in the warehouse on April 22, 1891, and shipped the following day in its current configuration.

Very good plus. 40% of the faded original blue finish and traces of the faded case colors remain. The balance has gray and brown patina. There are some scattered marks and scratches and some light spotting. The wood is fine as refinished and repaired. There is a small filled section on the right side of the butt near the toe, mostly sharp checkering, light scratches, and a few chips at the edges. The action functions fine, and the markings are legible.
