This post WWI example of a 1920 commercial Luger that was assembled by the DWM factory under contract for the Stoeger Arms Company in New York. This example has an American eagle Crest over the chamber area with the "DWM" logo on the front toggle. The right side of the barrel extension is stamped "GERMANY" followed by the roll marked: "A.F. STOEGER, INC./NEW YORK." marking. It has the standard "GESICHERT" and "GELADEN", safety and extractor markings. The barrel, which has been custom installed (possibly by A.F. Stoeger) is completely unmarked and unproofed with no index line. The frame has the post-war military style serial number with the letter suffix with only the side plate, trigger, take down lever and rear toggle, numbered "19", with all other parts unnumbered. The left side of the breech bolt has the commercial "Crown/N" firing proof. It is fitted with a set of unnumbered checkered walnut grips and it is complete with a wooden base magazine that is stamped with a "Crown/M" proof over "4377".

Very fine with 95% of the blue finish overall with wear on the edges and high spots with a slightly darker blue on the barrel. The walnut grips are in fine condition showing light handling marks overall with wear across the tops of the checkering. The smaller parts retain 40% of their straw colors mostly in the protected areas.
