Third Model manufactured in 1888. The two-line address/King's improvement patent dates are marked on the top barrel flat ahead of the rear sight with "32 W.C.F." at the breech. The upper tang is marked "MODEL. 1873.". The serial is marked on the lower tang, and the bottom of the brass cartridge elevator is marked "32 CAL.". German silver blade front sight and adjustable buckhorn sporting rear sight. Blue finish with casehardened hammer, lever and buttplate, and mounted with a smooth walnut forearm with a metal forend cap and straight grip stock with a crescent buttplate.

Very good as partially refinished (cold blue touch up present on scattered spots of pitting on receiver and barrel) with balance of rifling retaining 40% original blue finish and showing scattered other areas of brown patina and minor pitting. The lever has a dark patina with some light spotting. The buttplate has a smooth, mottled gray patina. The wood is also good with few small shallow gouges and some scattered minor dings, dents and scratches. The markings are clear. The action is fine.
