A commercial version of the Dragunov SVD, rifle original introduced in 1964. Imported by California Armory Inc. and marked as "1 of 1,000" on the left side of the receiver. This commercial version was importation was halted before all 1,000 could arrive in the country with approximately 700 plus received for U.S. sales. Blade front and military tangent rear sights, with a bayonet lug, and standard maker's markings on the right side of the frame dated "1993". Camouflage painted polymer forearm with a steel capped laminated wood skeleton stock. Mounted with a PSO-1M2 illuminated reticle scope with lens cap, extending sun shield and rubber eye piece. The scope is numbered to the gun. Includes a green canvas sling, with an attached leather pouch, three extra magazines and a canvas scope cover. Included in a small plastic case are two extra batteries for the scope, four extra diodes for the scope, winter battery unit, amber colored lens cap, two oil bottles, cleaning tools, screwdriver and manuals.
