Manufactured in 1967. The included documentation states that this revolver was purchased from Jose Lopez Portillo in July of 1998 and imported to the United States. Prior to this it was a part of the former presidents personal collection and displayed in the gun room of his Mexico City hacienda. The right side of the barrel is engraved "JOSE LOPEZ PORTILLO" flanked by small sunbursts. All other markings are as standard. With a fixed blade front sight and the rear sight removed to accommodate a Leupold scope base and Leupold M8-2X Extended Eye Relief scope. The revolver features a unique brushed chrome finish with smooth walnut grips with inset black and nickel Ruger medallions. Included with the documentation is a copy of his firearms registration card.
