Manufactured in 1963. Produced in a limited quantity of only approximately 3,300 in 1963 and 1964. This pistol was built in response to public demand for a high-velocity, small-caliber handgun using a Ruger single action frame and replacing the cylinder with a rotating breech block. Fitted with serrated front blade and an adjustable rear target notch sight. The barrel is factory drilled and tapped for a 1 inch scope base. Fitted with smooth walnut grips with inset black and nickel Ruger medallions. Includes a correct Ruger Hawkeye box and a Bushnell Phantom scope.
