Produced under several different names, including the 1932 Olympia, the Walther Sport Model was one of the great competition grade semi-automatic pistols of the 20th century, and was carried onto the field by numerous world class shooters. Adjustable blade front and "U" notch rear sights, with the Walther banner and patent markings on the left side of the slide, address and caliber on the right, and "crown/N" proofs on several parts. A 3 1/4 inch cylindrical weight is mounted on the underside of the frame, with a deep and wide checkered trigger and safety, narrower checkering on the front strap, and a one-piece wrap around grip with right-handed thumbrest.
Excellent, with 98% of the original blue finish, showing some light handling marks and edge wear overall. A few light scratches are visible on the underside of the frame, and the screws securing the weight have some tool marks. Grips are also excellent, with a few thin cracks. Mechanically excellent.
