Description:

This cartridge box is for 42 No. 56 Navy and Infantry sized cartridges for the Spencer and Joslyn carbines. The cartridges were manufactured by Crittenden & Tibbals of South Coventry, Connecticut, as noted by the white paper label (see image). The box contains all 42 cartridges, which are in 6 sealed packages.

Rating Definition:

Excellent. Most of the label remains with overall exceptionally clear printing. A couple of the sealed packages exhibit handwritten caliber/firearm model notations. Writer cannot recall seeing another exceptional box of these cartridges which are truly an outstanding accessory for your Spencer/Joslyn Civil War Carbine!
