The left rear of the frame is dated "1933". The pistol features fixed blade and notch sights, standard proofs, serrated ring hammer, smooth trigger and smooth grips with inset silver medallions with "R/anchor/M" indicating issue to the Italian Royal Navy. The pistol includes a brown leather officer's style holster with the initials "J.L.C." in gold on the front flap.
Fine with 50% of the original blue finish. Displaying areas of edge wear, handling marks, surface scratches, and a dark smooth patina on the grip straps. The grips are as lightly sanded and varnished with scattered dings and handling marks. Mechanically excellent. The holster is fair with scuffs, age cracking, and some staining.
