This is an example of a very scarce late WWII production Mauser Banner commercial contract Luger contract pistol that was assembled/manufactured in 1944 after regular production stopped. These were usually intended to supply small commercial contracts both inside and outside of Germany. It has the undated chamber area with the Mauser Banner logo on the front toggle. It is still chambered in 9 mm Luger, and the barrel is not serial numbered or proofed. It has a single commercial "eagle/N" proof on the barrel extension and breechblock. It has the standard front and rear sights and is correctly marked Gesichert/Geladen in the safety and extractor area. It has the standard military-style serial number placement and is fitted with a set of late production checkered black plastic grips. It is comes with two blued sheet metal magazines with the unnumbered black plastic base. It is complete with an unmarked takedown tool and a black leather holster that is stamped on the back: "dla/42/eagle WaA195" with P08 in the corner.

Very fine with 90% of the refinished blue finish overall with edge and high spot wear overall with thinning and browning on the right frame rail and both grip straps. The grips are very fine with nice distinct checkering on both sides with no handling marks. Mechanically excellent. The holster is in excellent condition with nice sharp distinct markings on the back with tight stitching showing only very minor scuffing on the front in a couple places.
