Fixed sights, "1937" on the chamber, and the "S/42" code on the toggle, "Droop wing eagle/63" proofs on the extension and eagle firing proofs on the extension, barrel and breechblock. The upper safety area and extractor are properly marked "GESICHERT" and "GELADEN", and with the exception of the magazine, the exterior parts are matching numbered in proper military style. Fitted with a pair of checkered grips and a nickel finished magazine marked "S/42" on the alloy base.

Very fine, with 90% of the original blue finish, showing a small amount of pitting at the muzzle, bright edge wear and scattered light handling marks. 70% of the bright original straw colors are present on the small parts, with loss concentrated on the edges and high points. The grips are fine, darker on the left panel, with a chip absent near the safety and mild dings and dents. Mechanically excellent.
