World War II U.S. Winchester M1 Semi-Automatic Carbine

Manufactured circa December 1944 - June 1945, as part of Winchester's third serial number range. Blade front and adjustable peep rear sights, with an undated "WP" barrel, Type III barrel band/bayonet lug marked "C", round bolt, "W" recoil plate, milled trigger guard, "EW" button safety and a "W" magazine catch. Low wood stock, with a four-rivet handguard, crossed cannon stamps on the right side, oval oiler cut, "W" sling cut, and a checkered buttplate. With a green canvas sling and an "IW" marked full blue magazine.

ConditionVery fine as professionally restored, with 98% of the parkerized finish, showing areas of brown patina and scattered mild edge wear and handling marks. The wood is very fine, with some light dings and dents. Mechanically excellent.
