Browned barrels with gold adornments, marked "CANON TORDUFERO DE FAUX," extensive gold-embellished panels at breeches, blued conversion breech, shallow rear-sight, brightly-polished rounded lock-plates inscribed "GUILLEON" on left side, plain flat section hammers (one cracking), checkered walnut stock with carved section at stock’s underside, and carved roundel finial to cheekpiece, mounted with hallmarked silver buttplate and trigger guard (marks are somewhat illegible but are pre 1809), butt plate cast in relief and depicting eagles and dogs, the trigger-guard bow with trophies of the hunt, silver ramrod pipes, baleen (whale bone) ramrod.
