Description:

Measuring 35 7/8 inches tall, the exterior consists of a brass jacketed, a hardwood shaft with a gilt brass collar near the top marked "BRIGG" and "FOX" and a gilt brass cap with raised floral and scroll decoration. The pistol itself, measuring 8 1/4 inches overall, is friction fit into the shaft, and when withdrawn shows a fluted four-chamber barrel cluster with "crown/V" and "crown/P" markings, a lightly engraved sear bar, and "BRIGG" on the base. All four chambers connect to a single nipple, and the cluster is spring loaded to pop back and strike the cap against the frame when the firing stud is pressed. A thin stiletto dagger may have been fitted to the barrel cluster at one point, but has been cleanly removed.

Rating Definition:

Good overall. The shaft shows some mild scuffs overall, and a thin crack at the mouth. A mixed brown and gray patina is showing on the barrel cluster and breech, with a few light scratches, and the grip shows some mild wear of the gilt fittings. Mechanically excellent.
