Blade front and grooved block rear sights, with the front half of the barrel decorated with a gold and silver washed engraving of a large Eastern dragon, an unidentified mon behind the rear sight and a set of untranslated silver inlaid symbols near the breech. The snap action lock is fitted with an iron arm and brass pan cover and lock plate, as well as a smooth brass firing stud and an externally visible sear. Fitted with a smooth hardwood stock, with brass bands, a wooden ramrod, and a faded paper tag on the left side.

Fine. The barrel shows a deep brown patina overall, with mild spotting, patches of shallow pitting and light handling marks. The brass components show a well aged color, brighter on the high points. The stock is also fine with some mild chips and scratches. Mechanically functions fine.
