Measuring 34 1/2 inches overall, with a 24 1/2 inch blade showing a wavy temper line fitted into a copper habaki. The fittings are standard, with the addition of an unidentified mon, a series of 8 triangles arranged in a circle, on the kashira and an untranslated cloth label hanging from the suspension ring of the brown lacquer finished saya. The tang is unsigned and unstamped, showing a deep antique patina.
