Manufactured in limited quantities in the early 20th Century, ending in 1916, the 9mm Dreyse is effectively a scaled-up version of the 7.65mm and 6.35mm Dreyse. Blade front and notch rear sights, with stacked "crown/N" proofs on the left side of the barrel, slide and frame, "Rheinische Metallwaaren - & Maschinenfabrik/ABT. SOMMERDA" on the left side of the barrel extension and "DREYSE" on the right. Checkered cocking knob and safety, smooth trigger and checkered grips with "RMF" monograms.

Very good, with 50% of the faded original blue finish, showing a number of dings and scratches around the address, areas of shallow to mild pitting, bright edge wear, and scattered spotting and handling marks. The grips are fair, smoothed out with dents and scuffs. Mechanically functions fine, but is very stiff. The magazine is a modified replacement.
