Manufactured during the Weimar Republic Era for export to the United States. Fixed sights, with a blank chamber, "DWM" monogrammed toggle, "GERMANY " on the right side of the barrel extension, "crown/N" proofs on the barrel, extension and toggle, "GESICHERT" and "GELADEN" markings on the safety area and extractor, and "KRIEGHOFF SUHL" on the backframe. The small parts are finished in straw and niter blue, with a pair of checkered grips and a nickel finished magazine with "GERMANY" marked wood base. With an extra magazine (configured as the first) and an unmarked brown leather holster in German military style.

Very fine as rebarreled to 9 mm, with 95% of the rust blue finish on the balance, showing some light dings, spotting and edge wear overall. The grips are excellent, with a few small dents and dark spots. The holster is very good, with some loose stitching, scuffs and cracking. Mechanically excellent.
