Description:

This is an excellent example of a late production Remington Arms U.S. Model 1903A3 bolt action rifle, which was the standard bolt action rifle used throughout WWII. It has the standard receiver markings, and the two groove barrel is marked: "RA/shell" and "flame/9-43". It has the standard all stamped components, and it is fitted with the adjustable war time rear sight and the fixed blade front sight. It has the standard, two bolt, straight grip, "S" style walnut stock and handguard. The right side of the stock is stamped with a faint "RA/cross-cannon cartouche/FJA". The stock is fitted with the standard stamped steel checkered buttplate.

Rating Definition:

Excellent with 95% of the original combination blued/green parkerized finish with edge and high spot wear overall. The stock is also in very fine condition with a nice dark brown color overall, clear cartouches and proofs and only minor handling marks on the left side of the buttstock and on top of the handguard. Mechanically excellent.
