Developed in the early 1980's for the U.S. Army, the M82 Barrett rifle has been adopted by a number of U.S. military departments and foreign governments. It has the standard Barrett Manufacturing, Inc. markings on the left side of the magazine well. Manufactured with a flip up post front and folding ladder rear iron sights, full length Picatinny rail, and an adjustable folding steel bipod. The top rail is mounted with a Leupold Mark 4 4.5-14x50 scope. The scope is fitted with a Barrett ballistics computer. It has a fluted barrel that is fitted with the signature 2-chamber Barrett-designed muzzle brake. With an AR-15 style checkered polymer pistol grip and solid rubber recoil pad. The Pelican hard case includes the detachable carry handle, two extra magazines, red zipper pouch, small tools, and a scope adjustment knob.
Excellent. The rifle has 95% original gray finish with mild handling marks throughout. Mechanically excellent. The case is very good with handling and storage marks throughout. The optics are very clear and the computer is untested.
