Manufactured in 1952 and fitted with an Eric Johnson bull barrel with scope blocks and an Al Freeland barrel collar and adjustable palm rest. A J. Unertl 20x scope, numbered "20995", is installed on the barrel blocks, with a boxed set of rail mountable Stith globe and peep sights. The stock is fitted with an aluminum hand stop, the Freeland rest, right handed grip with raised comb and cheekpiece, and a rubber White Line buttpad. Included with the rifle is a hardwood case, the box for the Freeland rest, a small cartridge block, short sling hardware, a padded shooting gauntlet, padded shooting jacket with 1947 NRA Expert patch and a faded logo from a Michigan shooting club, and a number of test targets and pieces of correspondence.

Very fine. The rifle shows 95% of the refinished blue overall, with some light wear and handling marks overall. A small filler block has been installed on the right rear side of the receiver filling in the original sight dovetail. The stock is very good, with mild dents and scuffs. The optics are bright and clear, with a few internal spots. Both the gauntlet and jacket show some stains and edge fraying, and the boxes, case and papers show wear appropriate to their age. Mechanically excellent.
