Factory Class "D" floral scroll engraving with punch dot background on barrel, ejector housing, frame, trigger guard and cylinder, with geometric designs on the recoil shield and loading gate. The top of the barrel is marked with the one line address, "COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY .45" on the left side and the left side of the frame is marked with the three-line/three-patent dates. Standard blade front and frame notch rear sights. The 150th Rampant Colt logo and "Colt Engraving Sampler" are linecut engraved along the back strap. Fitted with smooth grips with silver Rampant Colt medallions marked "Colt/150". The left grip is scrimshaw marked "R. Henshaw 1831/L. Nimschke 1850-1900/C. Helfricht 1871-1921/Contemporary". Complete with Colt factory box with custom shop label numbered to the gun and papers.
