Manufactured in 1892. The barrels feature a single bead sight on the matte concave rib, 2 3/4 inch chambers, and open chokes. The casehardened receiver features light scroll and border engraving with "L.C. SMITH" on both lock plates. Fitted with a tang mounted safety, and double triggers. Mounted on a multi-point checkered splinter forearm with an ebony tip and inset hard rubber "dog head" medallion, and pistol grip stock with a carved hard rubber buttplate. Length of pull is 14 1/8 inches.

Fine with a mostly brown patina on the barrels, scattered small dings, visible Damascus pattern, and clear markings. The serial number on the barrel flat appears to have been restamped to match the frame and other numbered parts. The receiver has an overall dark aged patina with traces of muted case colors, visible markings, good engraving, and handling marks throughout. The wood is fine as refreshed with well defined checkering, small dings, and handling marks. Mechanically very good.
