Manufactured in Belgium, this rifle is part of a limited importation run performed by Browning Arms in the early 1970s. Originally given a green light by the ATF for importation only a limited number made it into the country before they reversed their decision. Post front and military tangent peep sights, with a long flash hider, bayonet lug and adjustable gas port with grenade setting. The left side of the upper receiver is marked "F.A.L. cal. 7.62" and the right side bearing the one line Fabrique Nationale address. The lower receiver has the "S/R/A" selector markings with a pin inserted to lock out the "A" spot. Smooth teardrop-shaped triangular forearm, with a smooth plastic pistol grip and a walnut stock. The buttstock has been fitted with a Pachmayr recoil pad. Includes 3 extra magazines.

Excellent with 97% plus original finish. Displaying some light handling marks and a small line along the safeties direction on travel. The wood is very good with the added recoil pad and a few small handling marks. Mechanically excellent. Provenance: Robert M. Lee Collection.
