Introduced in 2004, the SCAR was fielded as a competitor to replace the M16/M4 platform as well as the U.S. military's assorted 7.62mm battle/designated marksman rifles. 1/7" twist barrel with a proprietary FN flash hider and a flip-up front sight on the gas block, with a quad-rail forearm, a Leupold 1x14 Prismatic illuminated reticle sight, and a windage/elevation adjustable flip-up peep sight. The receiver is equipped with a reversible cocking handle, right handed bolt catch, ambidextrous selector and magazine catch, and a folding adjustable buttstock. Includes a black nylon soft case with 4 extra magazines, cable lock, and papers.

Excellent with 99% of the original black finish and only minimal light handling marks. Mechanically excellent. The optics are very clear. The case is excellent.
