This is a rare example of an original H&K semi-automatic pistol that was produced on a limited basis as a shortened version of the H&K 94 rifle. The side of the receiver is marked "Made In Germany, H&K Inc., Sterling VA." The top of the receiver is marked with "HK, SP-89", the serial number, an Ulm factory proofmark, and a "KD" date code. It is equipped with a round drum rear sight and hooded pin front sight. Includes a shipping box numbered to the gun and papers.
