Manufactured in 1886. The top of the barrel has the one line Hartford address, and the left side has the correct original acid etched panel "COLT FRONTIER SIX SHOOTER". The upper left front of the trigger guard is marked "44 CAL". The serial number is marked on the butt. The rear face of the cylinder is marked "52" along with the letter "L." The loading gate has the assembly number "161." Fitted with standard blade front and frame notch rear sights. It has a blue finish, niter blue hammer and trigger, and checkered grips with the Rampant Colt in an oval embossed at the top.
