Blade and A-A folding ladder sights, with a ground mum next to the "99 Type" model marking, and the properly displaced Kokura stamp and serial number on the rear receiver ring. The Kogaku-brand 2.5x scope is numbered "1610" on top and "7022" and "147" on the integral mount. Smooth pistol grip stock with sling swivels and a cupped metal buttplate. Included with the lot is a belt case for the scope, tan rubberized canvas construction with canvas hinge, leather closure, and a canvas shoulder strap.

Fine with 70% of the original blue finish showing some areas of brown patina, mild edge wear and light handling marks. The mum is ground. The bayonet lug is numbered to match the rifle and a matching partial number "16" on the bolt. The stock is also fine, with some scuffs and chips concentrated on the buttstock, a thin chip absent from the left side just ahead of the mid band, and mild scratches. Optics are a bit hazy with some mild spotting on the lenses, a solid reticle, and mild exterior wear. The case is fair, with detached strap, scuffs and tears. Mechanically excellent.
