Manufactured in 1960, the same year the .357 magnum chambering was introduced into the Colt Single Action Army lineup. It has the standard markings and features and comes with a matching factory black box with the special red end label only used on the boxes of .357 magnum revolvers marked with the proper barrel length and caliber. The box also contains papers. 4,244 Second Generation revolvers were manufactured in this configuration.
