Manufactured in the last year of Mauser Luger production 1942. This exceptionally high condition Luger features standard fixed blade front and notch sights on the rear toggle. The chamber is dated "42", and the front toggle is stamped with the Mauser "byf" production code. The pistol is serial numbered in the military fashion with the full number "6784b" on the front of the frame and the partial number "6784" on the left side of the barrel extension and underside of the barrel. The various small parts are numbered "84", and all visible numbers are matching. The right side of the barrel extension is stamped with double "eagle/135" proofs and the "eagle/swastika" firing proof. The pistol has a full blue finish including the small parts, "P.08" on the left side of the frame, correct safety and extractor markings, stock lug on the rear grip strap, and checkered grips. The pistol includes a full blue magazine with a matching numbered aluminum base and "122/eagle/37" proofs on the body. Includes a Schambach & Co. russet leather police pattern holster dated "1940" on the back over an "eagle/swastika" acceptance mark. The holster includes an extra full blue magazine with an unmarked plastic base and a takedown tool.
