Description:

Between 1966 and 1968 only 40 of these 28 gauge shotguns were manufactured. There is extensive floral scroll engraving covering the receiver, trigger plate, trigger guard, break lever and forearm hardware. There is even a flourish of floral scroll on the breech end of the rib. The barrels have a single steel bead sight, are choked .003/.020 and have 2 3/4 inch chambers with ejectors. The top of the right barrel is engraved "WEBLEY & SCOTT LTD BIRMINGHAM ENGLAND", and the right barrel is engraved "SERVICE ARMAMENT. CO. RIDGEFIELD. NJ,.U.S.A." Mounted on a nicely figured, multi-point checkered walnut forearm and straight grip stock with teardrop flats, blank initial oval and a checkered bare butt. Barrel and stock dimensions are: bore diameter at 9 inches from breech .550/.550 inch; wall thickness at 9 inches from breech .05/.05 inch; drop at comb 11/2 inches; drop at heel 2 inches; length of pull 14 1/2 inches. With a canvas covered takedown hardcase, a two piece cleaning rod, original hang tag, two nickel plated snap caps, engraved nickel plated oiler, bore brush, bore mop, patch holder, and a box of patches.

Rating Definition:

Near new in case with minimal light handling marks overall. The case is excellent with some light storage marks on the exterior.
