Manufactured in 1957. The rifle features a medium heavyweight barrel with scope sight blocks installed in lieu of fixed sights. The left side of the barrel has standard markings, and the barrel and receiver are stamped with the Winchester oval "WP" proof offset to the left at the breech. The receiver is factory drilled and tapped with a scope block on the front and filler screws in the back. The left side of the receiver is fitted with a base for an adjustable peep sight. Mounted on a wide bottom target style pistol grip stock with a channel for a front accessory rail (absent), rear sling swivel, and a checkered steel buttplate.
